This journal entry records the renovation concept and second-round plan studies for the Guizhou Zhejiang Grand Hotel; it is not a completed project. The proposal plans 212 guestrooms, comprising 96 rooms at the 3-diamond standard and 116 at the 4-diamond standard, and studies how the two hotel products and their shared functions can be organised through a layered programme.
The study coordinates guest, operational and service flows. The 3-diamond rooms prioritise durability, maintainability and cost control, while the 4-diamond rooms focus on material quality, acoustics, lighting and smart-room experience. Arrival, sleep quality and high-impact guest touchpoints are treated as key priorities, with one 3-diamond and one 4-diamond mock-up room proposed before wider development.
The second-round plan studies continue to test first-floor reception and entry relationships while developing the fifth-floor public programme, back-of-house organisation and typical guestroom floors. All material remains at renovation-concept and plan-development stage; it does not indicate construction, completion or opening.
